Privacy Policy

The short version: I collect only what I need to run my classes, the challenge and my emails. I never sell your information or use it for advertising, there are no tracking or analytics cookies on this site, and you can ask me to see, correct or delete your information at any time.
Who I am
Ladies Who Claude is run by Nina Patrick Inc, a company registered in Delaware, United States. Because I decide what happens to the information you share here, I'm responsible for it under European data protection law (the GDPR).
You can reach me about anything on this page at support@ladieswhoclaude.com.
What I collect, and why
When you buy something
Stripe handles every payment. At checkout it collects your name, email address, phone number and billing address, and I receive those along with what you bought and how much you paid. I never see your full card number.
I use this to give you what you paid for: your confirmation and setup emails, your seat on the class list, and your place in the WhatsApp group for your class or challenge, which is what your phone number is for. I also keep purchase records because tax and accounting law requires it.
When you fill in a form
The contact form, the challenge waitlist, the newsletter sign-up, the review form and the Accelerator application all send me what you type into them, such as your name, email address and message. I use it to reply to you, to tell you about the thing you asked to hear about, or to consider your application.
If you send me a review through the review form, I may publish it on this site with your first name. If you'd like yours taken down, just ask.
When you're on my email list
If you sign up for emails or buy a class or the challenge, I send you emails through MailerLite. Like most email tools, it tells me whether an email was opened and which links were clicked, which helps me write things people actually want to read. Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom.
During a class or the challenge
A few things are worth knowing before you join a group:
- In the WhatsApp group, the other members can see your name and phone number, the same as in any WhatsApp group.
- The challenge's live calls run on Google Meet and are recorded so that anyone who misses one can catch up. The recording goes to the challenge group and may include your name, face and voice if you have your camera or microphone on. You're always welcome to keep them off.
Who helps me
I use a small number of trusted services to run the business. They handle your information on my behalf and only for the purposes above:
- Stripe, for payments
- Airtable, where I keep my list of students, purchases, enquiries and reviews
- MailerLite, for emails to my list
- Google, for my email and for Google Meet calls
- WhatsApp, for class and challenge groups
- Netlify, which hosts this website, and Render, which runs the small program that receives the site's forms
Some of these companies are based in the United States. Where your information leaves Europe, it's protected by the safeguards the GDPR requires, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
I don't sell your information, and I don't share it with anyone for advertising.
Cookies
This site doesn't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Two things on it come from other companies and may set cookies they need to work: Stripe's checkout page when you pay, and the Airtable application form on the Accelerator page.
How long I keep it
- Purchase records, for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- Your place on my email list, until you unsubscribe.
- Messages, enquiries and applications, for as long as they're useful for helping you, or until you ask me to delete them.
Your rights
You can ask me at any time to:
- show you what information I hold about you, and give you a copy
- correct anything that's wrong
- delete your information, apart from anything the law requires me to keep
- stop using your information for a particular purpose, such as emails
Email support@ladieswhoclaude.com and I'll reply within a month, usually much sooner. If you're unhappy with how I've handled your information, you can also complain to the data protection authority in the country where you live.
Changes to this policy
If I change how I handle your information, I'll update this page and the date at the top.
